Vancouver
Just an hour to the north, Vancouver, BC, is one of North America’s great cities with thriving art, music, and theater scenes. Take a carriage ride through Stanley Park. Bellingham
Head south if you want to catch a ferry to Alaska! Visit Bellingham’s historic Fairhaven District for local artisan pieces that you can find only here. Spend an afternoon in one of the city’s 17 craft breweries (and several are dog- and kid-friendly!) And be sure to catch the sunset as you drive along scenic Chuckanut Drive, the only place where the Cascade Mountains meet the sea.
